What technology will be covered?

Primarily, iPhone and Android devices, certainly as a starter. However, we can look at computers, tablets and even home technology if the needs are there.
Will it be easy to follow?

That’s the intention - I want to make sure we go at a pace that everyone is comfortable with. If we get to a point where there are beginners and more advanced, we’ll look to split the lessons to make them more effective.
What does the cost cover?

I’m charging £12 a session (1.5hrs) or you can book the next 3 for £30 in advance. This should cover the cost of the hire of the hall, and ideally, allow me to give a couple of teenagers some money to help out. They get to teach older users what they know, and they get to understand about having a job. It also helps us bring the community together more.
Some of the costs will go to cover a little of my time and for materials such as laminates and certificates.
Of course, biscuits will be supplied for free too!
Can I get my money back if I don’t like it?

Absolutely - I certainly don’t want to charge anyone who feels they aren’t getting good value for money.
What if I miss a lesson? Will I get left behind?

I don’t think so. I’ll be putting details of what we’ve covered up on this site once we have done the lessons, so any of the regular learners can access the notes, downloads, hints and tips sheets etc. whenever they need to.
What do I need to bring?

Much of the sessions will be hands on, so bring the tech you’re having trouble with. The first few sessions are focused on phones and probably predominantly iPhones, but if you have an Android phone, that’s fine. Bring along a notepad and pen if you want to take any notes, but I will provide handouts/take-home material to help you.
